Senior Structural Engineer

Structural Engineering allows Adam to explore his interest in how things work. He finds devising creative solutions to complex engineering problems motivating and rewarding. Helping to deliver multiple hospitals and clinics in Zambia is his biggest achievement. He’s rightly proud to have played a part in some complex and challenging projects which have had such a positive impact for local communities. Adam once won an award for playing the bagpipes, but now you’ll find him in the garden or pushing his limits at the gym.

Senior Structural Engineer

Adrian grew up with a passion for science and was always trying to understand how things worked, he knew from a young age that he wanted to be an Engineer. Adrian gets a real sense of satisfaction from his career, knowing that his work can have such a positive impact. In his free time he can be found down the gym keeping fit, or in his kitchen cooking up a culinary delight.

Director

Andrew has been at Tullys since joining as a Structural Technician. He was instrumental in developing the civils design capabilities within the practice and, having worked his way up to a Charted Engineer, now heads up the Civils team. As a Director at Tullys he is the driving force in pushing the sustainability agenda within the business.

Outside of work he is a keen rugby and hockey fan and loves to explore the cities of Europe.

Structural Technician

Brunilda is very proud of the career she has achieved in Engineering after relocating to the UK. She enjoys the design process of seeing drawings develop from early scheme proposals through to construction. At home she loves reading, especially the classics, and turns her hand to sewing as well as other crafts.

Civil Engineer

Chloe always wanted to become an Engineer. Following her A’ Levels she jumped at the chance to join Tullys on an Apprenticeship Programme, despite her original plans to go to university. She has since achieved an HNC and a Degree from South Bank University on day release, whilst gaining invaluable experience as part of our Civils team. In her spare time, she can be found turning her hand to crafts, playing netball and supporting Arsenal.

Senior Structural Engineer

Following an early introduction into the construction industry, Dan naturally found his career within Engineering. With his creative flare and love of problem-solving, these skills were perfectly suited to a range of project challenges. To balance-out the demands of Engineering, Dan also teaches Tai Chi and meditation, having spent several years living in China training to become a Tai Chi master.

Lead Structural Technician

With a Structural Engineer for a father and having a technical drawing board as, seemingly, a permanent fixture on the dining room table David is another who has followed in the family footsteps. His job satisfaction comes from seeing his drawings come to life. The one thing he loves above anything else is being surrounded by great family and friends.

Quality Management Engineer

David has a wealth of Engineering experience under his belt having spent over 40 years in the industry. David’s perseverance is a real asset, and he never gives up when trying to find a solution to a challenge. He spent 3 years building his own home, and he now likes to spend his spare time tinkering with his classic Triumph.

Managing Director

After Graduating from Loughborough University, David started his career with a global consultancy, moving from technical roles in both Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, into multi-disciplinary project management and then business management positions. David joined Tullys in 2018, taking up the role of Managing Director in 2021.

Outside of work, David enjoys photography, motor sport and driving his home-built Caterham 7.

Graduate Civil Engineer

Gabi excelled in maths and physics at school. This, along with fondly remembering watching engineering programs on television with her father, led her to choose to study Engineering at university. After completing her degree in Spain, she then moved to the UK to undertake her Masters at the University of Greenwich. Gabi is now enjoying the new challenges that engineering brings. Her biggest achievement was being part of a team nominated for the Ground Engineering Award 2022, whilst at uni.

Director

Malcolm originally joined the PSA as a Trainee Design Technician and has since worked his way up from the drawing board to Chartered Engineer. As a Director at Tullys he heads up the Structures team as well as running the London office. His core strength is engendering successful relationships with clients and fellow design team members, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects. In his spare time, he likes to get out on his bike and when the opportunity arises going to watch Sunderland.

Associate Director

Design Technology captured Gareth’s interest at school and led him to study Engineering at University. As one of our Associate Directors, he thrives on the variety of projects that cross his desk, enjoying the collaborative working and problem solving that each project offers. His biggest achievement has been reaching the summit of Mount Blanc at 4,809 m.

BIM Manager

Glyn has always been interested in the mechanics of how things fit together to make something greater. As our BIM Manager he enjoys utilising the latest software to resolve some of the more complex challenges our projects can bring. Out of work he’s a car fanatic and enjoys tinkering with his car which he originally totally refurbished.

Business Performance Manager

Harriet joined us after several years working in Accounts roles at large organisations, as our Business Performance Manager in 2007 to use her financial skills whilst also becoming immersed in the contractual side at Tullys. She particularly enjoys making new contacts and the satisfaction of closing out contracts. Her children are her biggest achievement, although ask some days and the answer might be different! She enjoys walking, gardening, socialising with friends and going to events; Harriet spends any spare time volunteering for her children’s school.

Civil Engineer

With a fascination for construction and family in Civil Engineering, it was logical James would be drawn into the same field. Gaining his chartership with ICE has been his biggest workplace achievement, he is now a mentor helping others through the same process. Outside of Tullys, James has a love of sports and can be found working towards his blue belt in Jiu Jitsu.

Senior Structural Engineer

Helping to deliver a large MOD project in Lossiemouth in 2018 is Julian’s biggest work achievement to date.  But stand him in front of any completed building Julian has worked on and it fills him with a sense of accomplishment, reinforcing his belief that he was always meant to be an Engineer. Outside of work you will find Julian working on improving his golf handicap which is now down to single figures.

Associate

Julian started his career in Architecture but subsequently decided that Engineering would be more rewarding. He joined the Civils team at Tullys and is now one of our Associates. He loves the variety and challenges each project brings, applying diverse thoughts and ideas to meet each one’s requirements. Julian is a music lover and enjoys going to gigs in his spare time along with riding his Ducati.

Senior Structural Engineer

With a love of Japanese architecture from a young age, Kayo knew the construction industry was for her and in particular Structural Engineering. She’s proud to have worked on some well-known landmarks during her career, including The Royal Opera House, HSBC Tower, Terminal 5 and the Science Museum. One of Kayo’s best moments was floating down the Colorado River on a raft, looking up, seeing the red rocks either side and blue skies above.

Associate

Growing up in Spain, Martin found himself encouraged to explore a career in Engineering because of his love of problem solving. This is still the main aspect of his job that he loves today. He also enjoys the interaction with the multiple disciplines involved in taking a project from concept to completion. As one of our Associates, Martin is rightly proud of his development and the career he has built since moving to the UK. A loyal Deportivo de La Coruña​​​ fan, he makes sure that everyone in the office knows how great they used to be!

IT Manager

Matt is our IT Manager and he’s always been interested in the natural progression of the technological world. This led him to follow a career in Information Technology. He’s continually looking into how the latest developments in both hardware and software and how they can improve the team’s working environment. Outside of work Matt can often be seen tinkering around in his armoured Scout Car.

Structural Technician

Natasha was drawn to construction via her interest in architecture from a young age.  She has a passion for drawing, a naturally good eye for detail and an analytical mind.  Natasha is enthusiastic about sustainability and is delighted to see projects becoming more and more environmentally focussed.  Natasha supports local biodynamic farms; buying, cooking and eating organic.  In her free time she is a keen scuba diver and has dived in some amazing places around the world.

Senior Civil Engineer

Paul is one of our Senior Civil Engineers and his interest in Engineering was sparked by a school trip looking at various great engineering feats. He loves the practical aspect of his role, being able to design Civil Engineering solutions that enable projects to become viable. Outside of work Paul enjoys travelling and outdoor pursuits, including previously mountain biking through Kazakhstan and hiking to Everest base camp.

Associate Director

Peter was a keen Lego builder as a child, so it was only natural that he found a career in structural engineering. He joined Tullys as a graduate and has grown with the company to become an Associate Director. He loves the variety his role brings, utilising his keen sense of logic, solving both engineering challenges and assisting clients in delivering successful projects. Peter takes great pleasure in boring his children by pointing out buildings and sites he’s been involved in the delivery of, when out and  about.

Document Controller

Sam a born organiser, enjoys her role as our Document Controller. It brings her a sense of achievement in helping to ensure the team have the latest documents to enable them to carry out their work as efficiently as possible. Sam is very active in her free time, her natural curiosity means she wants to try everything once. Her latest achievement is yoga paddle boarding and yes, she did fall in!

Practice Manager

As Practice Manager Sharon ensures the smooth running of both our Forest Row and London Bridge offices. She loves the family feel that Tullys offers, being a business which is supporting and understanding. Sharon’s biggest achievement was an off-road mountain biking trip across Spain’s Sierra Nevada, covering 225km and 4542m of climbs in 4 days.

Finance Manager

Sorath followed the family tradition into accounting. She loves the challenge of predicting future figures and analysing data. Through her hard work and dedication, she has built a successful career since moving to the UK, alone, at the age of 20 to study. In her spare time she loves being surrounded by family and friends.

Structural Revit Technician

Will was always interested in design at school, and it was programmes like Grand Designs that led him towards Engineering. Seeing how the various parts of the design come together to form a whole building brings the real sense of gratification to his work. At the end of a busy day, Will enjoys going out for a run to unwind.

Engineering Technician

With two generation before him working within the construction industry, you could say it is in Will’s blood. It was the Engineering side that captured his imagination, and this led him into an apprenticeship programme with Tullys supporting him towards his degree. Will has a passion for motorbikes and is the proud owner of a Suzuki Bandit 600.
