Eden Grove comprises six buildings of varying height up to 14-storeys providing 474 residential units, commercial office floor space and associated amenities. An 8400m2 basement is provided across the whole area of the site to provide cycle and car parking spaces for the residential occupants
Tullys services included the assessment of an existing sheet piled wall which was utilised to form the temporary works to the basement. Reinforced concrete attenuation boxes are incorporated within the basement structure to provide approximately 590m3 of storm water storage before being discharged via rising main into the River Ash. The client’s preference for off-site prefabricated manufacture has driven the design, to incorporate RC precast columns along with prefabricated ‘Bamtec’ reinforcement matts and full modular construction of the residential superstructure to two of the blocks.
