All Surface Water Discharged on Site

Whilst the previous building discharged to a Kent County Council sewer, this was no longer acceptable for its replacement and as such, all surface water is designed to remain on site via use of ‘rain gardens’ and fully permeable landscaping throughout. Through integration of this strategy agreement was achieved with Kent County Council to discharge only during excess overflow events, adding to the developments overall sustainability credentials.
