Flood Risk Assessment
This was a major mixed-use regeneration project delivering nearly 1000 properties, commercial units, supermarkets and extensive landscaped amenity space. Tullys provided Civil, Structural and Highway Engineering services across 7 years, from master planning to detailed design for this long term, joint venture.
Buildings vary from 2 storey terraced houses to 6 storey apartment blocks and commercial spaces. To suit these differing requirements a series of build formats were considered from traditional to full modular construction. Working closely with PRP, accommodation layouts were cleverly rationalised to allow efficient stacking and simplification of construction works. For the flat blocks modular construction was employed with a 4-5 storey light gauge steel frame being constructed off a 1st floor RC transfer deck.
