Our team building game this year took place at a local park in Forest Row, on 9 August. Some employees, family members and Alan the Black Lab joined us for an exciting game of rounders.
Here at Tullys we love a bit of healthy competition between teams. This occasion incorporated one of our most important values – Teamwork, providing a platform to keep morale high and to build good working relationships.
We all met in the park, where some of the really competitive members of staff were already warming up! We split into two teams, put on our festival hats (a given to let go and have fun here at Tullys), and the match was on. After the first game, scores were pretty level. With the tension rising, we all gathered for some delicious refreshments, (including the staple Tullys samosas), whilst catching up with some new and familiar faces. With everyone in good spirits and the weather on our side, we continued and played our second game with some good runs and catches, the winning team was clear – despite Alan trying to run off with the ball!
Overall, the day provided a great opportunity for staff to get together outside of the working environment to cultivate team bonding.
We hold these team building events in high regard for these reasons – not to mention providing everyone with the opportunity to let their hair down a bit. Following the fantastic feedback from staff regarding this event, we are really looking forward to the next one.
